Supply Chain Coordinator
ROLE OVERVIEW
This role with liaise with departments from across the business to ensure Beavertown has the right product in the right place at the right time, while maintaining cost, service, quality, and traceability throughout the process.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assisting the Materials Planner in organising and fulfilling a material ordering plan to complete the Master Production Schedule
- Converting medium-term plans (13-week horizon) into scheduled call-offs, ensuring lead times and warehouse constraints are taken into consideration across all production sites.
- Ensuring continuity of supply for raw/pack materials
- Issuing and resolving transactions in the Purchase-to-Pay process:
- Raising Purchase Orders (POs) with suppliers
- Managing/troubleshooting open orders
- Flagging and actioning order discrepancies at time of receipt
- Washing up any outstanding transactions/queries with the Accounts Payable team
- Liaising with Production, Logistics, and Finance teams to ensure all stakeholders’ needs are met.
- Organising paperwork: tracking purchase orders and maintaining records, ensuring accurate and reliable traceability.
- Monitoring production and raw material costs and suggesting actions off of the discovery of variances to plan.
- Collecting, assessing, and cleaning data collected throughout the brewing and packaging process to plan more effectively.
- Preparing reports on purchasing, material usage, and supplier performance.
- Increasing your understanding of the art and science of brewing through study and investigation.
- Demonstrating the ‘Beavertown Way’ to visitors and clients through cleanliness, enthusiasm, and hospitality.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Educated to degree level, preferably (though not essentially) in a STEM subject
- Demonstrated knowledge or willingness to learn of supply chain/planning concepts
- Competent user of Microsoft Office, and excellent user of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Strong mathematical and statistics skills
