5.6% “Bretted” Pilsner spending 3 - 9 months in barrel with a variety of Brettanomyces strains
This is the harmony of a refreshingly bitter pilsner and barrel aged soft, complex, bretted character. Fermented and then racked into separate oak barrels with several strains of Brettanomyces and left to mature for between 3 and 9 months before being blended, allowed to lager further and then bottled. Expect fresh notes of chamomile, tangerine peel and light citrus on a bed of barnyard hay, old leather, pasty and a hint of oak.
